WWE has announced that Women’s World Champion Naomi will be making an appearance during the next edition of Raw on August 18th. This was announced on the latest Friday night SmackDown telecast.

Naomi was abruptly removed from last week’s Raw, where she was meant to put the title on the line against IYO SKY in the main event. WWE reported that Naomi was not medically cleared to participate in the match.
Naomi-Status in Flux
This sudden cancellation has raised doubts over Naomi’s title defense. Later this month, Naomi is set to engage in a Women’s World Championship title defense against Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Clash in Paris, on August 31, against Stephanie Vaquer, who won the Evolution Battle Royal.
It is still not known when Naomi will be cleared to compete again, leading to this coming Monday’s announcement. Most fans are eagerly waiting to find out if the big match in Paris will happen as planned.
Big Match Announced For Raw
In addition to the update to be made by Naomi, WWE has also announced one more thrilling match, a huge inter-promotional singles contest featuring Penta, who will go one-on-one with The New Day’s Xavier Woods.
As the health of Naomi remains in doubt, the Eye will turn to Raw this Monday’s episode of Raw, as we find out whether the champion will be able to defend her championship at Clash in Paris.
Her news will make the fate of the Women’s World Championship scene much clearer. Toss in the hype of Penta vs. Xavier Woods, and fans can expect to have a very interesting night.
