John Cena Accepts Challenge at WWE Clash in Paris

Despite losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam 2025, John Cena looked like he was in a good mood on this week’s WWE SmackDown, thanking the WWE Universe for accepting him back. Cena also issued a stern warning to Brock Lesnar and anyone else who might step up: this ride won’t last forever, so if they want some, they can come get some. Ask and you shall receive. Logan Paul would come out and call that challenge at WWE Clash in Paris.

Paul scrutinized the way Cena “switched up,” saying that regardless of what they felt about him, he stuck to his guns, unlike John Cena. Paul also used Cena’s words against him when the “Never Seen 17” told everyone that Logan Paul “did WWE better than anyone.” That said, it doesn’t matter, because he’s still the biggest a-hole Cena has ever come across.

Paul did not take that lying down, and laid down the challenge. At WWE Clash in Paris, Logan Paul vs. John Cena. Before Cena could respond, Drew McIntyre would beat him down, with the new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes coming to his aid. Once the wolves hightailed out of the ring, John Cena would accept this “dream match” in Paris.
