Paul Heyman Gives Update on Seth Rollins on 7/14 WWE Raw

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Seth Rollins faced off against LA Knight. It was a good match, until an unfortunate incident shocked everyone. He attempted to do a moonsault onto Knight, but landed awkwardly on his knee. Immediately, doctors rushed over to tend to his injury.

He got up, but was quickly pinned by Knight. It was later reported that he was legitimately injured and will be out for some time. This obviously impacted not only Rollins, but his Money in the Bank briefcase and what was going to happen at SummerSlam.

People wondered what would happen to the briefcase. Paul Heyman had an answer on the following Monday Night Raw.

Rollins Will Get to Keep the Briefcase

If you win the Money in the Bank briefcase, it is good to cash in until the next year. However, the 2026 PLE is in August, so that’s more than a calendar year away. It’s more than likely the deadline will stay at a year, but there hasn’t been confirmation on that. Regardless of whether the briefcase expires in a year or at the next PLE, things will be looking up for Rollins.

In an interview, ‘The Oracle’ Paul Heyman offered some encouraging words to the WWE Universe. He told everyone that Rollins’ health is irrelevant because the cash-in deadline is far away. That basically means that he is keeping the briefcase for himself.

If he’s still not back by the Road to WrestleMania, it might be time to panic. But given that there’s nearly a full year until he can’t cash it in anymore, he’ll have time to heal with the briefcase in Heyman’s possession.

Things might change drastically for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in his absence. But Seth Rollins gets to keep his Money in the Bank briefcase, ensuring that he gets the chance to compete for another championship.
