AEW Dynamite Preview (7/9/25) – All In Texas Go-Home Show

An incredible run of weekly programming across AEW Dynamite and Collision, the build to All In Texas nears its crescendo. A new feeling has emerged, but can it be maintained? If Hangman Adam Page can’t achieve redemption for himself, will The Hangman at least gain it for AEW itself and his previous AEW Men’s World Championship reign?

Adam Page could get his hands on Jon Moxley ahead of the weekend in All-Star 8-Man action. After weeks of verbal and physical conflict, mind games, and bravado, who will leave with the psychological advantage?

However, there’s similar bad blood and history with former stablemates, The Young Bucks, who weeks ago smashed Page’s temples with an EVP trigger. It’s a good thing Page is not alone. With Will Ospreay and 2/3s of The Opps, the AEW team will get their chance to weaken the strange bedfellows’ alliance.

Elsewhere, Joe may kill everyone’s favourite long-haired whipping boy/sheepdog, Wheeler Yuta, and we get one more face-to-face between the AEW Women’s World Champion and belt-collecting CEO, Mercedes Mone. Can the anticipation rise any higher? AEW is taking no chances.

AEW Dynamite Matches Announced

  • Samoa Joe vs. Wheeler Yuta
  • 4-Way for the #2 Spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In Texas: Megan Bayne vs. Tay Melo vs. Queen Aminata vs. Thekla
  • All-Star 8-Man Tag: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks vs. Hangman Adam Page, Will Ospreay, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse

Segments Announced

  • The final face-to-face between Mercedes Mone and “Timeless” Toni Storm
  • Mark Briscoe, MJF Talky-Talk

4-Way for the Casino Gauntlet

Women’s four-ways in AEW have connotations. Prestigious-sounding history, a cheat code, but also a way to spotlight, for better and worse, the women’s division. However, these four-ways act like mini teasers for the overarching chaos of the Casino Gauntlet.

A showcase of four of the division’s most unique wrestlers and characters. Including overlapping and interconnected storylines. Megan Bayne and Tay Melo have been recent foes in tag team action.

We’re getting a preview for an eventual one-on-one between the pair. From Dynamite to Collision, Thekla vs. Queen Aminata has had fans talking. The intensity, the strikes, that finish… their issues aren’t over.

With Kris Statlander bagging the number one spot in the women’s Casino Gantlet match for All In Texas, whichever option we get offers a huge start to the match. A big rematch, a future dream match, or with all those involved, a hard-hitting, smash-mouth start.

Talky Talk

The two men who will begin the Men’s Casino Gauntlet match will meet face-to-face. The subtitle suggests something warm, fuzzy, and friendly. That’s because Mark Briscoe is a wordsmith!

It’s almost a call back to the days where Chris Jericho would name and get over the most bizarre synonyms for chat segments. It sounds cute, but is that intentional? Is it setting up for juxtaposition?

Briscoe and many of us might be awaiting a back-and-forth promo battle between two of AEW’s best characters and distinct voices. Jabs and barbs and some humor and wit. Or something more fiendish and brutal from the man Briscoe has said has a tiny kosher pickle?

Let’s look at history, MJF has never been one to accept criticism and mockery of himself. Given that the size of his kosher pickle is central, and MJF has The Hurt Syndicate with him, don’t expect Briscoe to go unpunished. Then again, Briscoe has friends up and down the roster…
