Next week, WWE will have a new King of the Ring, Queen of the Ring, perhaps some new champions and an earlier Raw start time. It will also provide a fantastic opportunity for fans in Pittsburgh, who will get to see a live Raw and taping of SmackDown on the same night.
WWE Raw Start Time Next Week
As was announced a month ago by the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, next Monday’s Raw start time will be 6PM ET. Following the conclusion of the show, WWE will tape Friday’s SmackDown. Tickets are valid for both shows.
WWE’s decision to tape next week’s SmackDown in advance is being done in order to give the roster off for the July 4th holiday. While a nice gesture, the travel turnaround for the roster is going to be a little rough as the journey from Riyadh to Pittsburgh is over 6,700 miles one way. It is likely the talent will fly out following Saturday’s Night of Champions for their 13-plus hour flight with plans to arrive back in the states before Monday’s earlier Raw start time. Well, that’s assuming they don’t get stuck in the airport because their plane has mechanical issues again…
