First Match for WWE Backlash 2025 Revealed on WWE SmackDown

WWE Backlash 2025 will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, and on WWE SmackDown, we finally get the first match for the first WWE PLE after WWE WrestleMania 41. For the main event, a legendary feud will be reignited, and the stakes could not get any higher. After a heated exchange on SmackDown, WWE officials quickly made the match between Randy Orton and John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship official.

The battles between these two were wars the WWE Universe will never forget. Two of the best to ever do it inside the ring, the final showdown happens in Randy Orton’s hometown. John Cena wants to retire and “ruin professional wrestling” by taking the biggest prize the industry has ever seen.

Unfortunately for him, Randy Orton lives, breathes, and bleeds professional wrestling, saying that he will stop at nothing to get the Undisputed WWE Championship from John Cena, and save the WWE as a whole.

What do you think of the WWE Backlash 2025 main event between John Cena and Randy Orton? Are you excited?
