WWE Unreal to Explore Behind-the-Scenes Look at Writer’s Room, Wrestlers’ Personal Lives

WWE is taking their turn at reality TV as on Sunday, during WrestleMania 41 Night Two, it was announced that WWE Unreal will be coming to Netflix this summer.

Not much was mentioned about the show and at the time of this writing, WWE hadn’t released additional information in the form of an official announcement or press release. Michael Cole described WWE Unreal as a show that would peel back the curtain on the company with an inside look at the writer’s room and exploring the lives of wrestlers outside of the ring, where the drama is just as intense as inside the ring.

On its surface, this show seems like it will be similar to the short-lived AEW: All Access, which aired six episodes in 2023 and followed several wrestlers around as they navigated their careers. WWE Unreal continues WWE’s lucrative partnership with Netflix, which airs Monday Night Raw weekly and is the company’s PLE partner in some countries outside of the U.S. The partnership, which is worth $5M, was agreed upon in 2024.
