10 Best WWE WrestleMania Entrances of All Time

When we think of WWE WrestleMania, we often point to the five-star classics, the awe-inspiring moments, or the victor who won it all. But WrestleMania isn’t just about all those things.

It is considered to be WWE’s biggest night of the year — a spectacle where sports entertainment meets grand theater. Nowhere is that more evident than seeing our favorite wrestlers make their entrances, and knowing how to make one will definitely put you in the spotlight.

These aren’t just normal walks to the ring you see on television every week. They left a mark on the audience, set the tone, and even told a story ahead of the match itself. Whether it’s The Undertaker rising from the dead, Shawn Michaels descending from the rafters, or John Cena coming out to an army of his clones, WrestleMania entrances have become famous for their iconic reputation of lighting up the stage!

With four decades of ‘Mania to choose from, narrowing the list was not easy, but we have ranked the ten best entrances that perfectly captured what a WrestleMania moment is all about before the bell even rings.

10) Roman Reigns – WrestleMania XL

There is no current star in wrestling who is more recognizable than Roman Reigns right now. The Tribal Chief reigned supreme over the world of professional wrestling in his years as the Undisputed WWE Champion from 2020 to 2025, holding the belt for 1,316 days.

Reigns always knows how to make an entrance on the big stage, but on Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania XL, his aura couldn’t be any more imposing. The School District of Philadelphia All City Orchestra performed a powerful orchestral rendition of his theme music. Roman, accompanied by his trusty right-hand man Paul Heyman, honored his Samoan heritage and its Bloodline in his finest WrestleMania entrance yet.

9) Sasha Banks – WrestleMania 32

At WrestleMania 32, Sasha Banks made her entrance for the triple threat match to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion. It was a super wholesome and light-hearted moment for two reasons.

Firstly, WWE Hall of Famer and hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg — who happens to be Sasha’s real-life cousin! — accompanied her to the ring by performing a live rap version of her theme song, “Sky’s the Limit”. Secondly, Sasha pays tribute to her idol, Eddie Guerrero, by wearing ring gear inspired by the legend himself. The Legit Boss would hit a frog splash to honor the Latino Heat during the contest’s pivotal moment.

8) JBL – WrestleMania 21

Before he inherited millions of wealth from the stock market, Bradshaw played card games and drank beer during the Attitude Era as part of the famous tag team, the APA. It was not until 2004 that he became the arrogant, egoistic businessman known as John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

His tycoon status was on full display when he made his entrance to defend the WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 21. JBL arrived in a personally customised white limousine, escorted by a motorcade of police motorcycles. He made it rain with a shower of 100-dollar bills with his face printed on each note. Free Bradshaw Dollars for everyone!

7) Bray Wyatt – WrestleMania 37

The late, great Bray Wyatt’s feud with Randy Orton in the early part of the 2020s was bombed by wrestling gurus and fans alike, rightfully so. Nonetheless, his entrance as “The Fiend” at WrestleMania 37 absolutely ranks among the very best to take place at the Show of Shows.

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt made a chillingly haunting entrance after having been incinerated by Orton last December. The spectacle began with Alexa Bliss making a cheerful entrance to the Firefly Funhouse’s intro theme.

Waiting for her in front of the ring was a gigantic, life-sized jack-in-the-box set. After Bliss turned the handle, an eerie music played, the box slowly opened, and the Field emerged in his original form, marking his sinister rebirth.

6) Triple H – WrestleMania XXX

Over the last three decades, Triple H has become synonymous with epic entrances at WrestleMania. Our newest Hall of Fame headline inductee knew better than almost anyone to set the stage for a grand showdown, and that was evident in his memorable outing at ‘Mania XXX.

Triple H went back to his King of Kings character for this one, as he was seen seated on a throne, adorned in golden armor and a skull king crown, along with a red cape.

Also, this entrance was notable for featuring cameos from three future WWE Women’s Champions, who wore matching gold costumes and masquerade masks while attending the Game’s needs. Who are these girls? Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Sasha Banks.

5) Charlotte Flair – WrestleMania 35

Charlotte Flair is one of WWE’s biggest women’s wrestling stars of this millennium. The Queen shared many similar traits to her Hall of Famer father, Ric Flair, from her attire to her persona to her wrestling style.

In the main event of WrestleMania 35, Charlotte paid the most wonderful tribute to “The Nature Boy” with this splendor.

In what was a reference to Ric Flair at The Great American Bash 1986, the SmackDown Women’s Champion arrived at MetLife Stadium via a helicopter.

After the aircraft landed, a red carpet was rolled out for Flair, and a dazzling blue robe was prepared for her. A befitting appearance for a historic affair, which saw the first-ever women’s match to headline WrestleMania.

4) The Undertaker – WrestleMania 29

The Undertaker has had a plethora of breathtaking entrances at the Grandest Stage of Them All since his famous undefeated streak began at WrestleMania 9. Fast forward 20 years, and his appearance still sent shivers down our spines.

This was ‘Taker’s 21st WrestleMania match, as he looked to extend his streak against CM Punk. The Deadman walked out to his signature theme in a darkened arena, and his classic tolling bell, eerie smoke, and blazing fire emerged onto the scene.

Unlike other Undertaker entrances, this perfectly encapsulated his “Deadman” character by including a scene of numerous hands trying to reach Undertaker on the stage, symbolizing the lost souls of the dead.

3) Rusev – WrestleMania 31

As of today, it is rumored that Rusev will make his WWE return after his recent departure from AEW. But in 2015, we used to remember this man as the next big monster heel of the company.

After making John Cena pass out at Fastlane, he was set to defend the WWE United States Title against Cena in a rematch at WrestleMania 31.

Even though Rusev lost cleanly, he made sure his entrance was one for the ages. Accompanied by his manager Lana, Rusev arrived in a literal tank!

Not only that, he embodied his nationalist gimmick by coming out to the Russian national anthem, followed by a massive crew of uniformed soldiers, while waving a huge Russian flag to the crowd. Truly a spectacular entrance for God’s Favorite Champion.

2) Shawn Michaels – WrestleMania XII

This might be WrestleMania’s original iconic entrance. Shawn Michaels made it his mission to make his first WWE World Title victory as special as possible when he squared off against Bret Hart in a 60-minute Iron-Man match at WrestleMania XII.

Descending from the rafters of the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (now Honda Center), the Heartbreak Kid rode a zipline over the Californian crowd in an image that still lives rent-free in the minds of countless ‘90s wrestling fans. It was this high-flying stunt that would lay the groundwork for Shawn’s main event run.

1) John Cena – WrestleMania XXV

Similar to the Undertakers and the Triple Hs before him, John Cena is no stranger to making a grand entrance at WWE’s biggest show of the year. It is quite tricky to pick out his best, but we are sure this is the most creative way a wrestler can make their way to the squared circle.

At the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, John stated his claim as the Cenation Leader by coming to the ring with an army of his clones. These John Cena lookalikes stormed the entrance ramp, forming two lines facing one another, before doing Cena’s “You Can’t See Me” taunt as Cena furiously stormed to the ring.

And to make it even more satisfying, Cena ended up winning the World Heavyweight Championship in this bout, beating both Edge and the Big Show in a three-way.
