WWE NXT Title Vacated On April 1 NXT Show

WWE NXT Title Vacated On April 1 NXT Show

The April 1 edition of WWE NXT put the third brand right on the fast track towards Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania 41 weekend. At the start of the show, major news broke when an NXT title was vacated.

WWE NXT Title Vacated

Stephanie Vaquer is no longer the NXT double champion. She voluntarily vacated the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship right at the top of the April 1 edition of NXT. Vaquer did this with NXT General Manager Ava in the ring with her.

Ava explained that Vaquer had agreed that both titles deserved to be defended and, to allow that to happen, she would give up one. Unsurprisingly, the title that Vaquer gave up was the NXT Women’s North American title, thus opting to continue her newer reign as the NXT Women’s Champion.

The now-vacant NXT Women’s North American Championship will be on the line at Stand & Deliver. The title will be defended in a six-woman ladder match. Over the next couple of weeks, we will see several qualifying matches for that match.

What’s Next for Stephanie Vaquer?

As for Vaquer, she made an agreement with Ava that, since she is giving up one of her titles, she would get to choose her opponent for Stand & Deliver. Ava seemed to be in agreement before Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker came to the ring and caused chaos. It seems both Grace and Parker could be options for Vaquer’s Stand & Deliver defense, or could she go a totally different route?
