Why CM Punk Should Win The 2025 Men's Royal Rumble

CM Punk Goes After All His Enemies in “State of the Union” Address

To say CM Punk was angry to kick off Raw was an absolute understatement. Punk was incensed and he had every right to be. He slammed the car door and cameras followed him as he walked through production and toward the ring area with a purpose. Punk tore off the cover of the announce desk and said he was about to have some fun and possibly get WWE canceled off of Netflix. Punk said we were well on the Road to WrestleMania so he was out there to offer a State of the Union address targeting his enemies. And since his name was CM Punk, everyone was his enemy.

Below is the full transcript of Punk’s latest mini pipebomb:

Listen up Dwayne, you bald fraud. You think because you’re on the board of directors you’re immune from criticism. You don’t know who you’re dealing with. You’re dealing with the best in the world, a middle aged and crazy man who walked back into the WWE after 10 years and literally marched through hell to receive opportunities at the big dance and you, Mr. Mid-life Crisis, just decide to walk in when you feel like it and hide behind the fact that you feel like you’re a bigger star than anyone here.

I’d love to say all this to your face but you have not graced us with your presence to do your bullshit, to hit your arm, to pretend that you care about this business that gives you goosebumps. I have never been so delusional, I’ve never been so desperate to wear a fake title (crowd chants loudly) and proclaim myself the people’s champion because I don’t deserve it. I earn it. I’ve never been so desperate to sell my soul and that brings me to you John Cena (boos).

You cant see me. Now we can all see through you. You stole something from me at the Elimination Chamber, a match that after 20 years of hustle, loyalty, respect, I gave you the benefit of the doubt when you didn’t qualify. I thought what you did in the past secured your future. You’re not gonna fool me twice. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect for 20+ years and now everybody sees what I’ve know all along that you’ve been selling all these people and all these kids bullshit. Who gave up in the Elimination Chamber? It wasn’t me. You’ll never see CM Punk give up on his dreams of main eventing WrestleMania. Ironically, Mr. Don’t Quit, Mr. Don’t Give Up, you gave up. You gave up on yourself and all of these people. You gave up on all those kids.

The jokes on you. I’m gonna see you down the road and I’m gonna get my hands on both of you bald frauds and when I do you’re gonna make a wish that I never did…and now the man of the hour, the person who currently has all my undivided attention, little brother Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch, you better come get your man because if I do before you do I’m gonna put him in a wheelchair. Seth Rollins self—

And that was that before Rollins’ music hit and he and Punk began brawling all throughout the ring area. The two continued to brawl backstage until finally, Adam Pearce had enough and booked a huge match for next week’s Raw at MSG: Punk vs Rollins inside a steel cage.
