WWE SmackDown Results (2/14/25)

On the special day of hearts in Washington, D.C., WWE SmackDown brings the heat to a fever pitch. The card was stacked to the brim, with matches that featured very real championship implications. While everyone in the world is celebrating their love, the WWE Universe is celebrating its adoration for the WWE Superstars, and the promotion made it worth it. Without further ado, here are the full WWE SmackDown results for February 14th, 2025.

WWE SmackDown Results – (2/14/25):

The show begins with Wade Barrett running down the card for tonight, along with Vic Joseph, who’s filling in for an “on-assignment” Joe Tessitore, informing the crowd of Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton’s arrival at the building earlier that day for their WWE Women’s Championship Match.

Also, we see Damian Priest, Braun Strowman, and Jacob Fatu make their way to the building as they battle it out tonight for a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.

“The American Nightmare” Kicks Off SmackDown

After being on the receiving end of a Samoan Spike from the returning Solo Sikoa, Cody Rhodes kicked off Friday Night SmackDown to address the WWE Universe, quickly asking the D.C. crowd “what they wanted to talk about.”

Rhodes talked about all the potential opponents he may have at WrestleMania 41, running down the qualified participants for the Men’s Chamber. Cody Rhodes continued by saying that he knew who wouldn’t be his potential dance partner at Mania, Solo Sikoa. Before he could go on further, Drew McIntyre would interrupt and make his way to the ring.

McIntyre took exception to Rhodes’ seemingly less than enthusiastic mentioning of his name, proceeding to remind Cody about his extensive list of accolades and the fact that he’s one of the few men who beat the Undisputed WWE Champion over the last few years. Cody Rhodes was reminded of that latter fact and said he hadn’t forgotten it.

Jacob Fatu would interject, simply informing them that he’s going to qualify tonight, main event WrestleMania, and take the title back home to his family. Drew McIntyre would issue a challenge to Jacob Fatu, quickly saying that everyone wants it. Still, it won’t happen, and this issue is for Cody Rhodes to resolve, exiting the ring and leaving Rhodes and Fatu alone.

Cody Rhodes did not mix words and said that Jacob Fatu can have a title match anytime. Before the conversation could go further, Solo Sikoa was seen entering the building on the titantron. Rhodes was on his way to confront Sikoa when Fatu stopped him and said that he wanted to get the first word with Solo as they talked about “family.”

Rhodes allowed it but said he wanted to get the last. Next up, Naomi vs. Chelsea Green for a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match.

Naomi vs. Chelsea Green

To secure the fifth spot for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, Women’s U.S. Champion Chelsea Green takes on one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi. Before the match, Wade Barrett would interview hometown girl and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

With the Elimination Chamber PLE in her hometown, Stratus stated that she would be there, but she needed to decide if she’d be in a suite or the crowd for that night. Before she could go on, Chelsea Green’s music would interrupt her.

In the ring, Naomi and Chelsea Green had quite a fun, hectic match. However, that night, Naomi had Chelsea Green dead to rights, hitting a Split-Legged Moonsault to pick up the victory and secure her spot.

We see a video package for Sami Zayn as he tells the WWE Universe about his injuries and how he’s itching to get back and exact his revenge against former best friend, Kevin Owens.

In the ring, out comes Motor City Machine Guns for their match against Los Garza

Motor City Machine Guns vs. Los Garza

This match went on at a break-neck pace. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were not playing around on this night, and that’s unfortunate for Los Garza. Angel and Berto tried, but The Motor City Machine Guns was too much to handle. A Skull and Bones later, MCMG would pick up the victory, bouncing back from their devastating loss at the Royal Rumble against #DIY.

Backstage, Jacob Fatu would confront Solo Sikoa. The latter informed him that he wasn’t around because he needed time off to find himself after losing the Uala Fala. He would end this conversation by saying that he “loved Jacob.”

Nakamura Speaks

Back in the ring, United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura would make his presence felt in Washington, D.C., ready to speak to the WWE Universe. Shinsuke got straight to the point and said that he’s been waiting for a challenger to take him on, calling everyone on the roster “weak.”

Well, Nakamura immediately got his challenge answered as the man he beat, LA Knight, would “talk to him.” Knight wanted the opportunity, and if Nakamura were willing to give it to him, he would be more than willing to take it. The Miz would join the proceedings, running down LA Knight and the D.C. crowd.

LA Knight and The Miz absolutely went at it on the mic, with the result having both men wanting to challenge for the U.S. Title. Fortunately, Nick Aldis was all ears, sanctioning a number one contender’s match then and there between the two.

LA Knight vs. The Miz

The two outspoken superstars probably had the match of the night, taking each other to the limit. The Miz and LA Knight absolutely gave it their all. However, LA Knight was on his best game tonight, and once the dust settled, he would hit the Double-Jump Elbow to The Miz to gain the pinfall victory.

Shinsuke Nakamura would size up the man he will battle for the United States Title, the same man who he beat for it.

Backstage, we see Alexa Bliss speaking to Nia Jax about a potential Mania match if the cards dealt were right. Back in the arena, R-Truth graced the WWE Universe with his presence, entering the ring for his match with Carmelo Hayes.

R-Truth vs. Carmelo Hayes

This was a quick one for Carmelo Hayes. R-Truth started hot. Unfortunately, Melo didn’t miss, and he dispatched Truth very quickly for his second win in a row. Next, we hear Kevin Owen’s reply to Sami Zayn’s message earlier in the night. Owens is more than willing to meet Zayn where it all began: Toronto at Elimination Chamber.

K.O. would conclude his message by saying that if Sami wants it, he could find him in Canada on March 1st. It’s now time for the WWE Women’s Championship match between Nia Jax and champion Tiffany Stratton, with Charlotte Flair keeping a close eye backstage on the proceedings.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax

This week’s WWE SmackDown results just kept on giving. Nia Jax dominated a huge portion of this match and came so close to regaining the WWE Women’s Championship. However, Tiffany Stratton got hot late, and with an amazing Spinebuster on Nia Jax, Stratton would set her up for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

Unfortunately, this match-of-the-week candidate would end with a whimper. Candice LeRae would interfere, leading to a disqualification. Jax and LeRae would carry out the attack post-match. Surprisingly, Trish Stratus would come to Tiffany’s aid but was soon overwhelmed. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae would exit the ring, leaving wreckage in their wake. Charlotte Flair would stroll into the ring, as Tiffany Stratton lay hurt.

Flair would taunt her a bit and say that she choose her for WrestleMania 41.

Damian Priest vs. Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman

To call this match physical would be an understatement. Fatu, Strowman, and Priest showed out tonight. Inside the ring and outside of it, it was like a tornado hit it. All three men brought their best game tonight. Fatu was on his way to winning the match when Sikoa interfered, and Samoan Spiked Strowman as he was setting up for some offense.

However, Cody Rhodes would hit the ring and go at it with Solo Sikoa. Fatu would come to the aid of his brother, but that would end up costing him. Sikoa had Tonga hold down Rhodes for a Samoan Spike, but Rhodes dodged out of the way, and Sikoa inadvertently hit Tonga with it, prompting Fatu to get in Jacob’s face.

Cody Rhodes would continue his assault on Solo Sikoa and make Jacob Fatu a non-factor. In the ring, Priest capitalized on the chaos and hoisted up Strowman for the South of Heaven for the pinfall, sending the fans home happy.

That concludes the WWE SmackDown results for February 14th, 2025.
