WWE SmackDown takes over the beautiful nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., on Valentine’s Day. Love is in the air on this night, but so is animosity. Let’s get right into the thick of things since we all know you’re very excited about a stacked SmackDown this Friday night. Without further ado, we run down the WWE SmackDown preview for February 14th, 2025.
Full WWE SmackDown Preview & Match Card (2/14/25):
- WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Nia Jax
- 2025 “Women’s Elimination Chamber” Match – Qualifier: Naomi vs. Chelsea Green
- 2025 “Men’s Elimination Chamber” Match – Qualifier: Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu vs. Damian Priest
Chomping For a Chamber Slot
Three out of the six spots for the 2025 Men’s Chamber match have been filled, and Jacob Fatu, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest have the prime opportunity to lock down the fourth one.
Backstage on last week’s SmackDown, Strowman issued a warning to Priest that he better get ready for the fight of his life as he’s stepping into the ring against a very fierce “Monster of All Monsters” and a ticked-off “Samoan Werewolf.” The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion retorted that he was on SmackDown for one thing: championship gold, and he did not care what he had to go through.
Strowman and Priest are ready. And after his tag team lost last week, Jacob Fatu is sure as heck prepared to make his Tribal Chief Proud. Who will come out of this colossal clutch with a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match?
Jax Looks to End “Tiffy Time”
Nia Jax lasted until the final three in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, only to get eliminated by eventual winner Charlotte Flair. While she’s not going to be the one to choose her opponent for WrestleMania 41, Jax has the opportunity to get selected by Flair as she takes on Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.
On the first SmackDown of 2025, Stratton kicked off the year in style by becoming champion, cashing in her Money in the Bank contract against her former friend. Tiffany would soon successfully defend her title against Bayley for the first time. Now, Nia Jax is on the hunt to get her title back and punch her ticket to WrestleMania 41.
Last week’s episode of SmackDown saw Charlotte Flair state that, before she makes her decision, she will keep a watchful eye on this match. Tiffany Stratton is not budging one bit and is hellbent to cement her legacy with this title reign. On the other hand, Nia Jax wants revenge, and she feels that the championship was stolen from her.
How will this pan out? It’s Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax on WWE SmackDown for the WWE Women’s Championship!
That’s all for this week’s SmackDown preview. Watch it all unfold this Friday night on the USA Network and Netflix.
