Preview: WWE SmackDown (2/7/25) – Fallout from Royal Rumble 2025

It’s the first WWE SmackDown hot off the back of one of the most exciting and unpredictable Royal Rumble PLEs in history. We deal with the fallout from WWE Royal Rumble 2025, and we charge ahead to the next Premium Live Event of the year, Elimination Chamber. Expect nothing but the best this Friday night. So, with all that said, here’s a WWE SmackDown preview for February 7th, 2025. Let’s run it down.

WWE SmackDown Preview & Match Card (2/7/25):

  • 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Winner Jey Uso Appears Live
  • 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Winner Charlotte Flair Appears Live

Rumble Winners in the House

Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair walked very different paths last Saturday. However, they both came out of the night as the top challengers for the champion of their choice at the “Grandest Stage of them All” WrestleMania 41. To open the night, Charlotte Flair came in at #27, battling to comeback from injury after over a year on the shelf.

Charlotte Flair was as good as the day she got injured, last eliminating Nia Jax and a very game Roxanne Perez. As for Jey Uso, he probably notched one of, if not the biggest wins of his career, when he last eliminated the “Greatest of All-Time” John Cena, to call his shot at this year’s “Showcase of the Immortals.”

This past Monday night, Flair and Uso confronted the Brand’s top champions in the form of Rhea Ripley and Gunther. Ripley was beyond game to run this back one more time against Charlotte. It’s 1-1, and a possible rematch could settle this over half-decade feud once and for all.

Gunther, on the other hand, dismissed Jey Uso. The “Ring General” wanted nothing to do with Jey Uso after their battle at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The choice is still up to Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso, and they’ve come to SmackDown to confront WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

What will the 2025 Royal Rumble winners have to say to the WWE Universe, and will they finally decide this Friday night?

Find out this Friday night, and a lot more, live only on the USA Network and Netflix!
