The Wyatt Sicks to SmackDown - A Potentially Good Decision

The Wyatt Sicks to SmackDown – A Potentially Good Decision

Since June of last year, The Wyatt Sicks have made Monday Night Raw their home. Led by Bo Dallas and his alter ego Uncle Howdy, they have punished people for betraying their family.

They have inflicted pain on both Chad Gable and The Miz, with the rest of American Made and the Final Testament backing them up. On the January 13, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw, Karrion Kross told The Miz that the Wyatt Sicks moved to Friday Night SmackDown.

With the transfer portal still open, there’s a chance that The Miz could send himself and the Final Testament there, continuing their feud. But there are a ton of opportunities to move past faction warfare. Some tag teams and singles wrestlers have done evil in their eyes, which means they could be the Wyatt Sicks’ next targets.

The Wyatt Sicks Could Shake Up Both Men’s Divisions

The SmackDown tag team division is currently very strong. There’s the Motor City Machine Guns, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, and The Bloodline, among many others. However, a couple of teams are either on the outs or have been turned on.

Ciampa and Gargano betrayed the MCMG to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. There’s been months of uncertainty between Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. No one knows what’s going to happen when Solo Sikoa shows up without the Ula Fala.

Having the Wyatt Sicks on Fridays could be beneficial, as people have been speculating about those teams’ futures for weeks now. The winner of Kevin Owens-Cody Rhodes should be watching for Uncle Howdy, as both of their reasons for fighting each other are completely valid.

Moving the Wyatt Sicks to SmackDown can give way to exciting stories in the singles and tag team divisions.

The Move Can Give Nikki Cross a Chance to Shine

The last few years have been a whirlwind for Nikki Cross. She won the Women’s World Championship as Nikki ASH, won and disposed of the 24/7 Championship, and has gotten her master’s degree in real life. However, she hasn’t competed in a singles match in over a year.

Moving to SmackDown reignited her fire as a singles competitor. Just like the rest of the Wyatt Sicks, feuds are already available for her. Tiffany Stratton betrayed Nia Jax to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

We still don’t know who attacked Jade Cargill, although we might find out soon. Having Nikki ASH compete for the WWE Women’s Championship or avenging Cargill is a good idea. Showcasing her skills will not only remind people that she’s a good singles competitor but it will also reinforce that the Wyatt Sicks are a dominant and powerful faction both inside and out of the ring.

The Wyatt Sicks’ Move Can Help Them Greatly

All five members of The Wyatt Sicks have been in WWE for many years. They have produced tons of great memories on the main roster and in NXT. However, the decision for them to feud with two factions has garnered mixed reactions.

Moving them to SmackDown allows them to split up but still gain legitimacy as a group. Having multiple programs with the members instead of one giant feud could make them more interesting. By doing that, the fans will never know who they will target.

After all, multiple people throughout the brand have violated their number one rule. Betrayal is a big part of professional wrestling, which has certainly caught the group’s attention. The Wyatt Sicks’ move to Friday night SmackDown, if booked correctly, can help them truly become the terror that they’ve set out to be.
