WWE SmackDown Spoilers (12/20/24)

The December 20th, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown was taped right after this week’s December 13th, 2024, Saturday Night’s Main Event “go-home” episode of the Blue brand. WWE has done this for the past couple of years to give the promotion’s team a break for the holidays. So, if you want full WWE SmackDown spoilers for next, we’ve got you covered.

Suppose it wasn’t clear already. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE DECEMBER 20TH, 2024 EDITION OF WWE SMACKDOWN: If you’re still here, then awesome. Let’s run down the SmackDown spoilers for next week.

Full WWE SmackDown Spoilers for 12/20/24:

  • The New Bloodline came into the ring and cut a promo before getting interrupted by Drew McIntyre. The “Scottish Warrior” would back off and make his escape through the crowd. The Six-Man Tag Team Match followed, with The New Bloodline defeating the odd team of Andrade, LA Knight, and Apollo Crews.
  • A Cody Rhodes/Kevin Owens vignette was played, and then there was a fiery backstage promo segment involving the “Prized Fighter.”
  • The Grayson Waller Effect hosted Braun Strowman on the show, who made his return on the previous episode where he defeated Carmelo Hayes. The talk show ended with an impromptu rematch between Hayes and  Strowman, with Melo picking up the victory this time and tying them up with one win apiece.
  • One-half of the new WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano would get a win over the Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley in one-on-one competition.
  • Filling in for an injured Jade Cargill, Naomi and Bianca Belair defeated WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Candice LeRae to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
