WWE NXT Deadline 2024: Giulia Is the Women’s Iron Survivor

The main event of WWE NXT Deadline 2024 saw the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge close out the show. Not to be outdone by their male counterparts’ opening Iron Survivor Challenge Match, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Sol Ruca, Wren Sinclair, and Zaria absolutely showed out all match long, essentially stealing the show and claiming the match of the night.

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that this match deserved the top billing for WWE NXT’s last PLE of 2024. As expected, the affair was a sight to behold. But of course, there could only be one winner, which ended up being Giulia.

In the last minute of the match, there was a five-way tie, with all competitors having one fall apiece. It came down to the absolute wire, with everyone scrambling to get one more pivotal decision in their favor. But in the end, Giulia pulled off the Hail Mary, hitting Zaria with the Arrivederci Knee.

Vaquer, like Je’Von Evans earlier in the night, had less than 10 seconds to pull out one more decision to tie it up, but the clock ran out before she could do so. All five women performed amazingly, but Giulia was just too much to handle. She definitely wanted it more than all of them combined on this night.

This win at WWE NXT Deadline 2024 ensures Giulia will have an opportunity to dethrone Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship reign at NXT: New Year’s Evil.
