Roxanne Perez And Jordynne Grace Make History

The last two weeks on NXT have been quite the rollercoaster ride. Two major names showed up, including TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace answering NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez‘s challenge.
On the June 4 edition of NXT, Grace was in action against Stevie Turner, and it was quite a showing. With that done, the attention now shifts to Battleground where Grace will challenge for Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship.
This match goes beyond the ring itself, as it will be quite a historic moment. This could be the solid foundation upon which the WWETNA relationship relation is formed.
This will be a showcase of some of the best women in the WWE and TNA. It will certainly be a match that the entire wrestling industry will tune in to witness.

Trick Williams Defends Gold Against Ethan Page

Ethan Page was another major name that debuted on NXT on the May 28 show. Having made a name for himself in ROH, TNA, and AEW, Page is now ready to take over NXT.

Page immediately went for NXT Champion Trick Williams and, upon signing his NXT contract, he immediately found himself getting his debut match set up. It will be for the NXT Championship, and it will take place at Battleground.

Williams is approaching 50 days as NXT Champion but, with the determined Page looking to end that reign early, he will have to fight to get there. This is an unlikely match-up that could end up being an intriguing match, and it could also shift things within the NXT men’s division.

An NXT Women’s North American Champion Is Crowned

An NXT Women’s North American Champion is going to be crowned at Battleground. Six top women in the division will clash in a ladder match to determine the inaugural champion.

Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, Michin, and Kelani Jordan will be the six women competing. This is quite a blend of different styles, and it promises to be the most exciting match on the Battleground card.

NXT has proven to produce some captivating multi-person matches in the past. It can be expected that this will be no different.
