Nakamura Wants Cody Rhodes on Raw

It’s safe to say a large portion of the internet wants Cody. That section of the fanbase will be treated to a Bull Rope match between Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura on this week’s WWE Raw.

The match comes after Nakamura attacked Rhodes backstage on a house show over the weekend. Speculation about who the Royal Rumble 2024 winner Rhodes will face at WrestleMania is rife.

This will only add more interest in Rhodes.

When Rhodes won the Rumble match and pointed to Roman Reigns, it seemed obvious that a rematch from WrestleMania 39 would top the bill at WrestleMania 40

Seth Rollins made a convincing case that Rhodes should face him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship instead. The Rock returning on SmackDown and Rhodes leaving the ring for the much anticipated Reigns and Rock staredown added more confusion over Rhodes’s direction.

Nakamura getting involved now only adds more intrigue. Regardless of what direction you want for Rhodes, it is safe to say WWE is certainly keeping things interesting at the moment.
