Preview: WWE Raw (11/13/23)

WWE Raw match graphic.

So a mistake was made last week, and I mistakenly listed last week’s WWE Raw as being from the Capital One Center in Washington DC when it was actually from Wilkes Barre, PA. THIS week, WWE Monday Night Raw comes to us live from the Capital One Center. I’ll spare the weekly arena retrospective bit and go straight to the lineup. It’s the longest one I’ve ever seen since doing these previews for any show.

What’s Coming Up Tonight On WWE Raw? Let’s Check It Out

Fastlane Rematch

At WWE Fastlane, the unexpected tandem of second-generation wrestlers, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, defeated The Judgment Day. Finn Balor and Damian Priest. To win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. A few weeks later, on Raw, a rematch between the two teams saw Balor and Priest re-capture the gold. A

nd now we get the third installment of this feud coming up tonight for Monday Night Raw. Will The Judgment Day manage to retain the gold this time around? Or will “The American Nightmare” and “Main Event Jey” stop The Judgment Day’s domination of WWE Raw as they head into their four on four confrontation in WarGames at the Survivor Series?

Bouncing Back From The Unexpected

On WWE Raw last week, we saw Ivar, Ricochet, The Miz, and Bronson Reed wrestled in a Fatal 4 Way match to determine who would challenge Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. However, during the course of the match, a Hurricanrana saw Ricochet hit his head hard, leading to some trouble and culminated in Ricochet kicking out in the midst of a double pinfall where he wasn’t supposed to.

Resulting in just The Miz winning the match and a little bit of improvisation afterward where Ivar attacked The Miz and hit his Moonsault on him. It set up The Miz vs Ivar, which was already meant to happen. However, it was meant to be a tiebreaker originally. The two face off now, though The Miz, as of now, is scheduled to face Gunther at Survivor Series.

DIY vs Imperium

The feud between these two teams continues as this week, Tomasso Ciampa takes on Ludwig Kaiser. These two have met in NXT years ago. But it was a setup for the arrival of back then, WALTER as the NXT UK Champion. As he was making his move to the NXT brand and attacking the then NXT Champion Ciampa.

This though, I feel we’ll get an actual conclusion to the match. If Kaiser loses, is he going to catch the same flack Giovanni Vince does? We’ll have to see.

Nakamura’s Next Challenge Found?

Since losing to Seth Rollins at Fastlane, Shinsuke Nakamura has been looking for his next big challenge. He beat the newest member of the Alpha Academy, Akira Tozawa, last week. But it was not challenging enough for him. But by slighting Alpha Academy, he’s spurred the ire of the rest of the group. As such, here’s Otis to pick up after Akira Tozawa. Can Otis satisfy Shinsuke Nakamura’s desire for a challenge?

Chase For Tag Team Gold

It seems Tegan Nox and Natalya hit it off as friends in the midst of both of them trying to challenge Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship. Natalya’s acting aside. Now that it’s clear Natalya isn’t acting smarmy, her and Tegan Nox are chasing after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships held by Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. As such, here we have one half of the Tag Team Champions in Piper Niven vs one half of the challengers, Tegan Nox.

All that, plus Xia Li vs Indi Hartwell. With Zoey Stark now slated to challenge Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series, what will they do? More to come as we head to Survivor Series in 2 weeks. Lets see what’s to happen tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw.
