The End of a Historic Run?

The TBS Champion Jade Cargill has been virtually unstoppable in her undefeated record-breaking run. Cargill has decimated every opponent, leaving the AEW Women’s Division in ruins as her time on the top of the mountain seems like it has no visible end in sight. When it seemed like there was no one else that could step up to the plate, Taya Valkyrie arrived in AEW, immediately notifying everyone, specifically Jade, that she will be the one to end it all.

After months of verbal and physical altercations, the time has come. It will be Jade Cargill defending the TBS Title against arguably her toughest test ever in the form of Taya Valkyrie. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Taya is one of the very few competitors that can match Jade’s strength and agility in the ring. That said, Jade won’t relinquish control of the TBS Championship easily after everything she went through to keep it.

Will Jade Cargill remain undefeated and keep the title around her waist? Or will Taya Valkyrie be the second-ever holder of the TBS Title?

A Shot at Double or Nothing

Sammy Guevara has officially sold his soul to the devil himself to advance in this “Four Pillars” Tournament to determine the number one contender for the AEW World Championship. On last week’s Dynamite, it was “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry going up against Guevara, with the winner advancing to face Darby Allin in the tournament finals.

The match was a barn-burning affair up until the conclusion. MJF earlier in the night made a deal with Guevara. Max promised Sammy an astounding figure and a guaranteed spot to main event this year’s Double or Nothing. The AEW World Champion followed through big time, hitting Perry with the Dynamite Diamond Ring that helped Guevara seal the victory.

It seems like these once-bitter enemies have hit common ground and plan to screw everyone as they look to solidify this bout at the May pay-per-view. Unfortunately for Sammy, there is still one huge hurdle to overcome in the form of Darby Allin. The daredevil has been hellbent on securing a title match against MJF for some time, even striking it lucky as he earned a bye to keep him fresh for this monumental matchup.

This Wednesday night, it’s Allin vs. Guevara one-on-one for a shot at the AEW World Championship! Which of the two will go above and beyond and take every risk to become the number one contender? Find out on an exciting AEW Dynamite card, live on TBS!
