WrestleMania 39: WWE Reveals Full Two-Night Card; Nick Khan Makes Major Statement on First Take

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes | WrestleMania 39 Night 2

On Thursday, March 30th, ESPN’s First Take received the exclusive opportunity to reveal the full two-day WrestleMania 39 card for WrestleMania Saturday and WrestleMania Sunday.

First Take returned from commercial break with a brief promo from Sami Zayn, who tossed it back to the studio desk for the big announcement. The show’s co-host ran down the card before tossing it to host Stephen A. Smith, who was live in LA for a one-on-one with WWE CEO Nick Khan, who responded to a question about how he runs the sports world by saying, “I don’t run the WWE. There’s only one person who actually runs the WWE, Vince McMahon. A lot of folks help me to run the WWE.”

Khan’s comments will certainly be something to unpack especially as WWE sale rumors heighten amidst recent first right of refusal proposals starting this week. Khan addressed several topics in the exclusive interview, including the upcoming WrestleMania 39 where he told the audience to expect “a bunch of surprises.” One can only speculate what that could mean but with WrestleMania Goes Hollywood as one of the taglines, these surprises could include celebrity guests, returning superstars, and much more.

The cards for the two-night extravaganza are as follows:
