During this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, The Acclaimed were in action. The former AEW tag team champions took on some local competitors as a tune-up win to get back on track after failing to reclaim the tag titles at AEW Revolution. One of their opponents is a familiar face to indie wrestling fans as Starboy Charlie teamed with Jack Carthweel, who impressed on AEW Dark earlier this week.

Starboy Charlie Appears on AEW Rampage

Despite his young age the independent standout has been a regular name in some major promotions for years now. He has been a familiar face to Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) fans since 2020 and has competed against the likes of Lio Rush, Chris Bey, Alex Zayne, and Mike Bailey under their banner.

Outside of GCW he has competed for West Coast Pro Wrestling (WCPro) who are one of the hottest indies in all of America right now, as well as Violence x Suffering, Prestige Wrestling, and Black Label Pro. It’s clear that Charlie has had a lot of time to hone his craft for a host of promotions, with an appearance on Rampage under his belt who knows what is next for one of the most obvious prospects currently active in the U.S. indie scene.
