Mark Briscoe in Action

Mark Briscoe was too young to compete at the first-ever Ring of Honor event. Instead of competing, he accompanied his brother Jay Briscoe to the ring. Jay Briscoe went one on one with The Amazing Red in a match that saw Jay Briscoe lose. The legacy that the Briscoe Brothers went on to have in ROH and beyond will go down in professional wrestling history. The brothers went on to win the ROH Tag Team Championships 13 times and the ROH World Six-Man Championships once.

Standing across from Mark Briscoe will be Slim J. As part of the Trustbusters, it is hard to count him out as Ari Davari is never far behind. Who will pick up the win on the first new ROH TV card? Find out on Thursday.

ROH World Championship on the Line

ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli will defend the ROH World Championship against AR Fox. These two have been in the ring before as part of the AEW Rampage Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios Royale. AR Fox teamed up with Top Flight while Claudio was with Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club. Claudio was the last member of the BCC standing and was tossed out by Fox for the win.

Not only did the BCC lose the match, but each member lost out on $100,000. Claudio has not forgotten the lost match and holiday bonus. Now he has a chance to even up the score and retain his ROH World Championship this week on ROH TV.
