Wrestlers are back on Bar Rescue as a trailer for Sunday’s episode prominently features Mercedes Mone and Trinity Fatu.

Mercedes Mone and Trinity Fatu to Appear on Bar Rescue

When AEW’s Adam Cole and Britt Baker, D.M.D., first appeared on the hit TV show, Bar Rescue, back in May of last year, it certainly seemed pro wrestling and saving failing bars were unlikely bedfellows. However, based on the trailer for Season 8, Episode 24, “JJ’s Sports Bust” it would appear Jon Taffer is turning to the wrestling world again to help a bar owner save his struggling business. In the trailer, wrestling fans could quickly spot Mercedes Mone, Trinity Fatu, and longtime WWE contributor, Maria Menounos in the background of a scene where Taffer was confronting the owner of JJ’s Bar and Grill in California.

It is unknown exactly what role Fatu and Mone are playing in the scene. It is likely the two were there to serve on Taffer’s reconnaissance team meaning their role was to go into the bar before Taffer’s arrival to get a lay of the land. Normally represented by celebrities, the reconnaissance team is there to get a sense of everything from the atmosphere, to the foodservice, to the quality of the drinks, interactions between the staff, and anything else a keen eye might notice.

Menounos, a longtime collaborator with WWE, is also good friends with Taffer and has recurred as a guest on several previous episodes of Bar Rescue. It would not be surprising then, for her role during Sunday’s episode to tie in with that of Mone and Fatu’s.

Now in its eighth season, Bar Rescue first began airing on Spike TV (now Paramount Network) in July 2011, starring Taffer, a long-time consultant who specialized in pubs, nightclubs, and bars over his 40-year experience in the restaurant and beverage industry. Taffer brings his attitude and expertise to the show, having successfully rescued hundreds of bars over the years.
