Preview: AEW Dark Card (12/13/22) – Start Time, How to Watch

AEW Dark 12-13-22

We have six excellent matches to look forward to on this week’s episode of AEW Dark. Trustbusters’ Slim J and Jeeves Kay face off with Ortiz and Eddie Kingston. Kip Sabian looks to continue his rise up the singles ranks as he battles Tony Deppen. Our focus will be on trios action as Matt Hardy and Private Party look to keep their momentum rolling against Dean Alexander, Rosario Grillo, and Rhett Titus.

Dean Alexander, Rosario Grillo, and Rhett Titus vs. Matt Hardy and Private Party

Since reuniting, Matt Hardy and Private Party are undefeated in trios action. However, they will face a tough test as they not only face off with constantly improving Dean Alexander and Rosario Grillo, but they’ll also have to overcome a former ROH Television and Tag Team Champion in Rhett Titus.

Titus and Hardy are actually quite familiar with each other. Both were members of Ring of Honor’s S.C.U.M. from March 2013 until June that year, when they were forced to disband after losing a Steel Cage Warfare match. While that is nowhere near enough time to learn all of Hardy’s secrets, it’s still safe to assume he learned a few things from Hardy’s playbook.

Any regular reader knows I’m a big fan of Alexander and Grillo; having Titus on their side definitely improves their chances of getting that elusive first AEW win. That said, Matt Hardy and Private Party will walk away with the win. This will still be a great night of action you will not want to miss!
