#ANDNew: Heath and Rhino Win The IMPACT Tag Team Titles

IMPACT Wrestling has new World Tag Team Champions. Heath and Rhino defeated The Kingdom to become the new champions. This is the latest blow to Honor No More who has not had things going their way as of late.

Heath and Rhino Capture IMPACT Tag Team Titles

Honor No More suffered a big loss at Bound for Glory. The leader of the group Eddie Edwards was unable to defeat Josh Alexander to become IMPACT World Champion in the main event. Eddie Edwards returned to IMPACT for the first time tonight in a brief backstage segment where he confronted Honor No More and his wife Alisha Edwards. Following the match, Edwards returned to the IMPACT zone where he ridiculed Honor No More until PCO had heard enough and cleared the ring.

Now the faction suffered a big loss tonight as Matt Taven and Mike Bennett lost their tag titles to Heath and Rhino. This is the first run as IMPACT  Tag Team Champions for the duo. Rhino has won the tag titles once before with Violent by Design. This is the first IMPACT World Tag Team Championship reign for Heath.

The Kingdom turns their attention to AEW where they made their debuts last week on Rampage. Taven and Bennett along with Maria Kanellis confronted Shawn Spears and FTR at the conclusion of last week’s show. They came to the ring to beat down the trio before backup came in the form of Wardlow and Samoa Joe. The Ring of Honor ties run deep with Joe and The Kingdom and they may very well be inserting themselves into the ROH picture with Final Battle coming this December.
