September 9 AEW Rampage

The lineup for the September 9, 2022 edition of AEW Rampage has been revealed. The September 9 AEW Rampage will feature women’s division action, ROH branded action and a match in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions to crown a new AEW World Champion.

First, Claudio Castagnoli is set to defend his Ring Of Honor World Championship against Dax Harwood. This will be Castagnoli’s fourth defense of the title that he won back on July 23, 2022.

Also, Sammy Guevara will face Darby Allin in a first-round bout in the AEW World Championship tournament. This will be Guevara and Allin’s fourth meeting in singles action inside an AEW ring. The title was vacated during AEW Dynamite along with the AEW World Trios Championship and a new champion will be crowned at Arthur Ashe.

Furthermore, Serena Deeb will take on Madison Rayne in singles action. Also, ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe is set to appear on AEW TV for the first time since his surprise return at the All Out pay-per-view.
