What to Know Regarding The Nature Boy’s In-Ring Return
Rumors began to swirl when a video of Flair training with Jay Lethal in the ring surfaced online. While many speculated, there were plenty of doubts, given Flair’s relatively recent health scares. It will be interesting to see the level Flair will be able to perform at, but if anyone can come back from that kind of layoff with those health scares and have a good match, it would be Flair.
No opponent has been announced yet, so have fun with the speculation while you can. I see Lethal as the front runner, seeing as he is reliable in the ring and someone Flair trusts greatly. No matter who the opponent is, you can bet many will tune in just to see Flair walk to the ring.
Many will cry that this is ruining the picture-perfect retirement match he had with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV. To them, I say, he already did that by wrestling in IMPACT Wrestling (back when it was Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), for now fans should celebrate that this legend has fought his way back to being able to do what he loves.
