Sami Callihan Re-signs

Sami Callihan Returns to IMPACT at Under Siege

Sami Callihan made his return to IMPACT Wrestling tonight at Under Siege. He made his return prior to the main event of the night.

Moose made his way to the ring and wanted to hijack the show due to his issues with Josh Alexander and how he feels he has been treated since facing Alexander at Rebellion. The lights went out and a familiar vignette aired. The lights came back on and Sami was in the ring. He used a baseball bat to take Moose down before hitting a piledriver.

Sami Callihan Returns to IMPACT at Under Siege

Callihan has been out of action since September of 2021 due to a broken ankle. He was scheduled to be out of action until spring of this year. Callihan is now cleared and is back in action for IMPACT Wrestling.

Callihan has been a key part of the IMPACT roster since his debut in 2017. Sami is a former IMPACT World Champion and was a key part of the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) invasion last year where he carried the banner for IMPACT. He was a key part of the feud with Kenny Omega, Don Callis, and The Good Brothers who were on the side of AEW. Sami challenged Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Title at Slammiversary 2021 and was unable to take the belt from Omega and bring it back to IMPACT Wrestling.

Now that Callihan is back in IMPACT no one is safe. Callihan is known for his hard-hitting in-ring style and is not above going outside the rules to win a match. He has been part of many hardcore matches in IMPACT over the last few years and is not afraid to mix things up in the ring with any opponent.
