New Blood 2 New Talent Announcements

Yuna Mizumori Takes on Lady C

The Gatoh Move/Stardom partnership is in full effect as not only will Mei Suruga challenge AZM on April 29 but Yuna Mizumori will be a part of New Blood 2 when she takes on Lady C. Mizumori debuted for Stardom in the Cinderella Rumble on day 2 of Stardom World Climax but she now gets the chance to showcase herself in a singles match.

Yuko Sakurai & Rina Amikura of Color’s Taking Part

In a surprising announcement, Color’s Girls Pro Wrestling Unit will be represented at New Blood by Yuko Sakurai and Rina Amikura. GPU Color’s spawned from the recent Actwres girl’Z shift which ended the Beginnings and Color’s brands. Amikura and Sakurai along with SAKI and Hikari Shimizu have continued the Color’s name as an independent group that run their own events.

Sakurai debuted in 2018 for Actwres and since leaving the group has appeared in Ice Ribbon, WAVE, Gatoh Move, and other promotions. Amikura also debuted in 2018 and is seen as a major prospect on the Joshi scene.

Momoka Hanazono Teaming with Waka

Stardom enters the HanaZone as Momoka Hanazono makes her debut for the company. The 22-year-old debuted in 2018 and competed for REINA and some other smaller groups. She became a free agent in 2020 and has since been a regular fixture in Colega Pro Wrestling and OZ Academy, where she’s formed a team with Mei Suruga.

In August of 2021, she was announced as the GM and inaugural roster member of Super Delfin’s 2.5 Dimension Women’s Wrestling group but the group has yet to take off. Hanazono has a background in rugby and uses a spear as a signature move.
