#AndNEW: BUSSY (Allie Katch and EFFY) Win GCW Tag Team Championship

BUSSY - Allie Katch and EFFY - as GCW Tag Team Champions

At the recent Game Changer Wrestling event entitled GCW Paranoid, The Briscoes defended the GCW Tag Team Championship against Allie Katch and EFFY, collectively known as BUSSY. Jay and Mark Briscoe entered this match as 2x GCW Tag Team Champions, not to mention former 12x Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions and the current House of Glory Tag Team Champions. Simply put, they were heading into this match with a major advantage on their side. Despite the deck being stacked against them, BUSSY captured the GCW tag team titles, securing the gold for the first time in the process.

This GCW Tag Team Championship match approached its conclusion after over 16 minutes of competitive in-ring action. Allie Katch was able to hit the final exclamation point, executing a piledriver on Mark Briscoe on the fallen Jay Briscoe. From there, BUSSY got the double cover on Jay. The two celebrated in the ring as the crowd in attendance cheered on what has become one of the favorite tandems in the company.

What to Know Regarding Allie Katch and EFFY’s Major Victory

As mentioned earlier, this victory marks the first time that BUSSY has held the GCW Tag Team Championship, whether as a team of working alongside other partners. However, this is far from the extent of the success they’ve seen on the independent scene. In the case of Katch, one would see that she’s held gold in such promotions as Pro Wrestling Magic and River City Wrestling. Meanwhile, to name a few of his own accomplishments, EFFY is a 2x FEST Wrestling Champion and even briefly held Matt Cardona’s Internet Championship when “The Deathmatch King” was defeated at Get Lost Alot this past September.
