The reign of Kazuyuki Fujita as GHC Heavyweight Champion officially begins as he will defend the title for the first time against ZERO1‘s Masato Tanaka. These two last faced off in singles action at the Sugiura-Gun Produce Show All Dogs Gather! 3. It, as you’d expect, was a complete war between the two as they wrestled to a 15-minute draw. Because of that scenario, it gave Tanaka as good a reason as any to be Fujita’s first challenger. When preparing for any match involving these two warriors, the only expectation should be maximum violence with nothing but body-rattling strikes. Fujita has been unstoppable since winning the gold which makes it pretty obvious who is going to walk out of this one as the winner. Tanaka could pull off the upset but this sure looks to be a successful first defense for Fujita.

Prediction: Kazuyuki Fujita
