In news which broke last night, former UFC Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWE superstar, Cain Velasquez, was allegedly involved in a shooting near Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, California. The news was broken by the Bay Side Area branch of NBC News, who confirmed Velasquez’s suspected involvement.

Details surrounding the situation are still under heavy investigation, but it has been confirmed that one man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the shooting, whilst another was taken into police custody. In these early stages of the investigation, it is currently believed that the charges brought against the former big-time UFC fighter are charges of attempted murder. He will be held under custody until his first court date, which is set for this coming Wednesday (March 2) at 12:00 noon.

Cain Velasquez: A Big-Time UFC Name and Former WWE Superstar
