LuFisto Enters wXw 16 Carat Gold Tournament

LuFisto WXW

LuFisto was announced Monday as the final entrant in the 2022 wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament in March 2022. The First Lady of Hardcore is also the first-ever female entrant in this prestigious tournament’s history! Fresh off of her induction into the Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame, the pioneer continues to make history.

LuFisto is also no stranger to wXw, as she has made the trek to Germany a few times, the first in 2018. She competed in the wXw Femmes Fatales tournament in 2018, making it to the finals and losing to Meiko Satomura. LuFisto returned for the 2019 tournament, defeating Leyla Hirsch to win it all.

Past winners of the 16 Carat Gold tournament include Cara Noir, Lucky Kid (NXT UK’s Teoman), Absolute Andy, Ilja Dragunov, Zack Sabre, Jr., Malakai Black (Tommy End), Chris Hero, El Generico, Sami Callihan, and WALTER (now known as Gunther). Over its 15 year history, it has established a reputation as the most prestigious tournament in Europe.

The Innovator of Intergender, LuFisto joins out a field consisting of Senza Volto, Michael Knight, Aigle Blanc, Maggot, Vincent Heisenberg, Cara Noir, Robert Dreissker, Jonathan Gresham, Fuminori Abe, Shigehiro Irie, Oney Loran, Ace Romero, and Bobby Gunns. Two additional entrants will be determined through the Road to 16 Carat Gold tournament. The wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament will take place across three shows as part of the 16 Carat Gold Festival from March 4th through 6th in Oberhausen, Germany. Tickets are currently available for all events scheduled for the festival here
