LuFisto Wins Femmes Fatales Tournament

LuFisto

Canadian wrestler and female wrestling trailblazer LuFisto has emerged as the winner of wXw’s Femmes Fatales tournament.  She joins names like Alpha FemaleToni Storm and Joshi legend Meiko Satomura as previous tournament winners.  She defeated VivienLana and finally Leyla Hirsch to win the tournament.  Her match with Hirsch has also gained buzz as a fantastic display of hard-hitting action that made Hirsch a star with the wXw crowd.

After the match, LuFisto challenged wXw women’s champion Amale to a championship match at the World Tag Team Fest final.  wXw’s women’s division is heating up as it was also announced that last year’s Femmes Fatales winner Meiko Satomurawould be cashing in her title shot at wXw’s anniversary show in December.

Despite turning 40 soon and having 23-years worth of wear and tear LuFisto is still kicking and has the respect of fans all over the world for representing badass women’s wrestling in the early 00’s in places like the ultraviolent Combat Zone Wrestling and International Wrestling Syndicate.  Now approaching retirement she is still among the best independent female wrestlers in all of North America and still adding accolades to her already storied career.
