Santana & Ortiz Get Ready for New Year’s Smash
Santana & Ortiz are probably one of the more underrated tag teams on the All Elite Wrestling roster, despite currently standing at number four in the tag team ranks, between The Young Bucks and FTR. This Wednesday, at New Year’s Smash, they’re teaming with their former LAX brethren Eddie Kingston to take on the team of Daniel Garcia and 2point0, in what should be a solid match. Hopefully, a victory here can put the duo back into the title picture. Tonight, they get ready as they take on the team of Movie Myk and Alexander Ross.
Thunder Rosa in Action on AEW Dark Elevation
Also this Wednesday at New Year’s Smash, Thunder Rosa will take on the undefeated Jade Cargill in the semi-finals of the TBS Championship Tournament. The winner will go on to face Ruby Soho on the debut episode of Dynamite on TBS on January 5.
Rosa defeated Jamie Hayter in the quarter-finals of the tournament, in a match that began to sew the seeds of dissension between Hayter and AEW Women’s World Champion, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. At the same time, Baker and company have their sights set on Thunder Rosa, so don’t be shocked to see them try to interfere and cost her the match this Wednesday. Tonight, however, Rosa takes on indie wrestler Dani Mo. Check out this and the rest of the action of AEW Dark: Elevation!
