Preview: WWE Raw — Big E vs. Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship (9/27/21)

Big E vs Bobby Lashley

It was announced during Extreme Rules that Big E vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship will kick off Monday Night Raw, making it one of the more must-see episodes of the entire year. WWE is following in the footsteps of AEW with this one, as it was less than a week ago that Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson opened Dynamite: Grand Slam. These two top heavyweights not only should put on a show Monday but deliver a pay-per-view quality match. Here’s a look at what to expect from the match as it is the only segment or match announced for Raw.

Big E and Bobby Lashley have managed to create one of the most intense and interesting feuds of the entire year in WWE within a matter of weeks. The new and former champions have dialed it up to ten, making it personal quickly. After all, “The All Mighty” was on the top of the world before Big E used his Money in the Bank briefcase to cash in and become WWE Champion. The match Monday night should be all about physicality, destruction, and survival for both men. Based on the six-man tag from Extreme Rules, these two may need even more than this match to settle their differences. The promos both men cut to make this match official were some of the best of either man’s career to this point.

All eyes should be on this one as this could also be the one time we see them fight with the WWE Draft beginning this Friday. Who will win? Hopefully, Big E proves that this isn’t a fluke and he is worthy of being champion for a very long time.

Prediction: Big E
