Kiera Hogan vs. Kris Statlander on AEW Dark

Things are heating up between Kris Statlander and AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, DMD. On the debut episode of AEW Rampage last Friday, Baker successfully defended her title against Red Velvet. Following her victory, Baker continued her beatdown on Velvet, which led to Statlander interfering to make the save. That in turn led to an attack by a returning Jamie Hayter, who hasn’t been seen in AEW in nearly two years. No doubt Statlander will be looking for revenge against both Baker and Hayter, and as the number two ranked wrestler in the women’s division, a shot at the title as well.

Tonight, Statlander takes on Kiera Hogan, who made her AEW debut last night on Dark: Elevation against Hikaru Shida. Although Shida was victorious in that match, Hogan, a former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion, showed plenty of fire and a desire to be All Elite. With both competitors looking to advance their goals, no doubt they’ll put on a solid match tonight on Dark!

Masha Slamovich Debuts on AEW Dark

One of the most exciting names on the current U.S. indie scene is “Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich.  Ever since returning from a sting in Japan training with Marvelous That’s Women Pro Wrestling, known more colloquially as Marvelous, Slamovich has been setting the indie scene alight with her great work for promotions like Camp Leapfrog, BEYOND Wrestling, and many others who can be seen on IWTV.  She debuts against Penelope Ford

Lee Moriarty AEW Debut vs Dante Martin

2020 was not the best year for professional wrestling, but one talent who had a breakout year despite the pandemic was Lee Moriarty. “Taigastyle” Lee Moriarty debuted for Game Changer Wrestling in the summer of 2020 and hasn’t looked back since, becoming one of the most in-demand wrestlers on the indies in the process.  2021 has already seen Moriarty compete for Major League Wrestling (MLW) but now he has a chance to prove himself on AEW against one of the companies hottest prospects in Dante Martin
