Chris Bey Joins Bullet Club on IMPACT Wrestling

Chris Bey Joins Bullet Club

Chris Bey is the newest member of the Bullet Club. The reveal happened on this week’s edition of IMPACT on AXS TV. White made a surprise appearance at the end of Slammiversary where he confronted former Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega, and former Bullet Club members The Good Brothers.  Jay White is the current NEVER Openweight Champion in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). “Chris Bey joins Bullet Club” became the news of the night.

White was advertised to appear on this IMPACT following Slammiversary. Chris Bey opened up the show with a victory over Rohit Raju. As he walked backstage White approached him asking him if he had gotten his message. White informed Bey that he wanted Bey to join Bullet Club, Bey rejected White, claiming that he walks alone. White reminded him that walking alone didn’t work out for him at Slammiversary and that the offer had an expiration.

Switchblade made his way to the ring later in the evening to introduce himself to the IMPACT crowd. He proceeded to call himself the true belt collecter, taking a shot at IMPACT Champion Kenny Omega. White then called out David Finlay for hiding in IMPACT and challenging him to a match at Resurgence. White then addressed Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers, calling them the biggest fans of Bullet Club and reminding them they have nothing to do with Bullet Club anymore. Omega and The Good Brothers then came out with Don Callis to address White.

Callis extended an invitation to White to join The Elite. When White reminded Kenny and Callis that he defeated Omega, they retreated to the back. The Good Brothers approached the ring and demanded a thank you from White for what they did for The Bullet Club and paving the way for him. Things got physical after White insulted their careers, leading to White being beaten down. Bey then made his way to the ring evening up the odds. Bey and White stood tall as The Good Brothers retreated. A tag match was set up for the following week on IMPACT between the four.

White and Bey were defeated by The Good Brothers after Bey was pinned. After the match, Bey claimed he didn’t want his first match in the Bullet Club to be a loss. Jay White quickly let him know that he is not in the Bullet Club yet but had a chance to redeem himself. The redemption came when Bey and White beat down FinJuice backstage. This set up a match between Bey and Juice this week on IMPACT, which Bey won. White then handed Bey a Bullet Club shirt and a “Too Sweet” to make Bey officially in The Bullet Club.

This is another chapter in the working relationship between NJPW and IMPACT. Several NJPW wrestlers have appeared in IMPACT this year including El Phantasmo (ELP), FinJuice, and Satoshi Kojima.
