Preview: Ring of Honor – ROH TV #513 (7/16/21)

ROH TV #513

Fresh off of the landscape-changing Best in the World pay-per-view, Ring of Honor returns to TV this week with ROH TV #513. We will see three matches, one with implications for the upcoming Women’s Tournament. Let’s see what Ring of Honor has for us this week.

ROH TV #513 Full Card

Fred Yehi vs. Rey Horus

The Savage weight Fred Yehi returns to Ring of Honor TV this week. Yehi recently competed on ROH TV #511 when he challenged Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham in a losing effort. Yehi now looks to bounce back in his first match outside of the Pure division in quite a while. He will take on the high-flying Rey Horus. Horus is coming off a victory over Flamita at Best in the World, avenging an earlier loss in a Surivval of the Fittest qualifying match. With Flamita in the rearview, Horus can now set his sights fully on Fred Yehi at ROH TV #513.

The Foundation vs. Shane Taylor Promotions

The Foundation did not have the best luck at Best in the World. Tracy Williams was unable to compete in the tag title match due to an accident he was involved in last month. Jay Lethal was set to replace him until injuries from a match with Brody King earlier on the card made him unable to compete. Gresham took his place shortly after retaining his Pure Championship in a losing effort to Chris Dickinson and Homicide, losing the tag titles in the process. Lethal, Gresham, Rhett Titus, and Tracy Williams are now looking to gain back some momentum against Shane Taylor, O’Shay Edwards, Moses, and Kaun of Shane Taylor Promotions. STP had a good night at Best in the World, as they retained their ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles against Dalton Castle, Eli Isom, and Dak Draper.  Will The Foundation get back on track, or will Shane Taylor Promotions continue the winning ways? Find out this week on ROH TV!

Quinn McKay vs. Mandy Leon

Quinn McKay has had issues with The Allure since the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view. The Allure has taunted her since the event, culminating in a match between McKay and Angelina Love with a tournament spot on the line. McKay and Angelina Love went head to head a couple of months ago on ROH television with McKay’s shot in the tournament at stake, and a first-round bye on the line for Love. McKay was closing in on a victory against Love when a distraction from Mandy Leon cost her the match. She has a chance at payback on the Allure, and secure a last-second spot in the tournament if she can defeat Leon this week on Ring of Honor television.
