Ex-WWE Referee Drake Wuertz Doing First Post-WWE Interview (7/7/2021)

Drake Wuertz WWE

Drake Wuertz is a controversial individual with ties to political conspiracy theories we at Last Word on Sports do not endorse. However, as we try to cover all varieties of wrestling news, we must take an impartial approach to covering news within pro wrestling. As the upcoming Drake Wuertz interview is too closely involved in wrestling to ignore, the preview for the interview has been written as follows in this article.

Former WWE & NXT referee Drake Wuertz is set to have his first interview since being let go by WWE.

Wuertz, the controversial and polarizing former referee who was terminated by the company on May 19th as part of ongoing budget cuts that have been taking place in WWE, as well as rumors of discontent with regards to his attitude, had been with the company since 2013 and had worked various roles with the company. In 2014 Wuertz made his debut as a referee and was later promoted to head referee in NXT. Prior to his career as a referee, Wuertz worked the Independent scene as Drake Younger; working with such promotions as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), IWA Mid South, AIW, CZW, and Insanity Pro Wrestling and many others. He has drawn much intrigue and, indeed, infamy for some of his personal views.

Drake will be interviewed by Rad Rob, of the RTW Rewind Podcast show as part of the Hamin Media Group. Drake will not pull any punches as the two will discuss such topics as Drake’s work in “stopping human trafficking”, his recent run-in with the Seminole County School Board, and why it ultimately cost him his career with WWE and more.

Don’t miss out on this exclusive LIVE interview on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at 8:00 pm EST from the Hamin Media Group Youtube Page (link below):
