WWE NXT Card: Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed in a Steel Cage (5/18/21)

Johnny Gargano vs Bronson Reed WWE NXT card

Off the heels of a show that saw two championships defended successfully, we have another wild night ahead of us on Tuesday as NXT will see the NXT North American Championship on the line. That’s not all, as a feud a month in the making comes to blows as well. Here’s the preview for the WWE NXT card.

NXT North American Championship: Johnny Gargano (c) vs. Bronson Reed in a Steel Cage

Gargano vs Reed WWE NXT card

Johnny Gargano has been in the face of NXT general manager William Regal week after week trying to avoid his rematch with Bronson Reed for his North American Championship. Regal has instead gifted Reed a Steel Cage match to make sure that Gargano does not get any outside help from Austin Theory. Considering how good their first encounter was at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, this should be another fantastic outing that could result in a new North American Champion.

Zoey Stark vs. Toni Storm

Stark vs Storm WWE NXT card

Zoey Stark and Toni Storm have been at each other’s necks since the preshow of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night one. Stark was able to pull off the upset over the former NXT United Kingdom Women’s Champion and Storm has yet to let it go. Storm has been so bothered by it that she even suffered a loss to Zayda Ramier as Stark was in her head during that one as well. This match is a must-win for both women as the NXT Women’s Division has only enough room for one of them on top. Whoever loses will have a lot of ground to make up moving forward.

Ted DiBiase Arrives on NXT

Ted DiBiase WWE NXT

Ted DiBiase has become the thorn in the side of Cameron Grimes that may never leave. And now he’s coming to NXT. Grimes has been outbid, duped, and simply angered by “The Million Dollar Man” week after week. The only question now is what does DiBiase have in store for Grimes as he appears on the black and gold brand for the very first time. You’ll have to tune in to find out.

Pete Dunne Sit-Down Interview

Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times and ESPN has confirmed that he will be having a sit-down interview with former NXT United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne. “The Bruiserweight” has been waiting for someone to step up to him and no one has been willing to do so. Perhaps this interview will be his first chance to get something off of his chest.
