When Life Gives You Lemons

Manny Smith will be making his AEW debut against the high-flying Matt Sydal. A six-year veteran of the independent scene, Smith finally gets his shot at the big time. Smith has competed for various indie promotions such as Championship Wrestling from Arizona and Ohio Valley Wrestling. He also had a taste of the big leagues competing in IMPACT Wrestling and Ring of Honor. He will have a tough task ahead of him in his debut as he’s going to face an AEW veteran that recently went toe to toe with the world champion of the promotion. Will Manny Smith make lemonade out of lemons and win his first match in All Elite Wrestling or will Matt Sydal cut his time in the limelight short?

The Doctor’s Tune-Up on AEW Dark: Elevation

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. made good on her promise and became the number one ranked women’s competitor in AEW. On the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, It was announced the Baker will have a shot at Hikaru Shida‘s AEW Women’s World Championship at Double or Nothing at the end of the month. The Good Doctor is in a great mood as she finally beat the system and climbed all the way to the top to secure herself a date with destiny. Her opponent for the night, Raychell Rose, is a competitor fans have seen once before competing on AEW Dark. This could be the opportunity Rose has been waiting for to make an indelible impact in the company. Will Raychell Rose readjust the doctor’s attitude and score herself a victory or will Britt Baker continue her wave of momentum heading into her big title match?

Hard Knocks

Eddie Kingston is in a foul mood and is not here to play games as he makes his AEW Dark: Elevation debut against VSK. Last week on  AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts, Kingston and Jon Moxley were victorious against MT Nakazawa and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, albeit by dubious circumstances. Omega would duck out of the match early, walking out on his partner. A win is a win, as they say. Kingston and Moxley might have gotten the win, but Omega’s premature exit left a sour taste in the mouths. They didn’t get to dole out the punishment they were hoping for having a match opposite Omega. Knowing Eddie, he might just take it all out on his unfortunate opponent. No one wants to be in VSK’s shoes right about now. However, anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling. Will VSK score the upset or will Eddie Kingston frustratingly beat his opponent to a pulp on the way to a victory in his AEW Dark: Elevation debut?
