#AndNEW: Daniel Garcia Wins Limitless World Championship

Daniel Garcia wins Limitless World title

On Friday night, “Red Death” arrived for Christian Casanova, as Daniel Garcia defeated the new WWE recruit for the Limitless World Championship at Double Vision on Friday night, ending Casanova’s reign at 90 days. Incidentally, Casanova won the title at Limitless Wrestling‘s Vacationland Cup in a tournament after the previous Limitless World Champion, Anthony Greene, signed with WWE last year (where he now competes as August Grey).

It marks the third major singles title to be held by Daniel Garcia at the moment. Following a horrific car crash that left him unable to compete for much of 2019, he returned to the ring for his hometown Empire State Wrestling (ESW) in June of 2019 and captured the ESW Heavyweight Championship, defeating Brandon Thurston. A frequent regular in the Ontario indie scene in Canada, that November in 2019, he defeated IMPACT star Josh Alexander to win the C4 Championship at Ottawa’s Capital City Championship Combat (C4). Garcia is now 630-days into his ESW Championship reign and 477-days into his C4 title run. The technical standout now holds yet more championship gold, becoming just the fourth wrestler to hold the Limitless World Championship since the title’s debut in early 2019.
