ROH TV #496

This week’s edition of Ring of Honor television will be the go-home show for the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view. ROH TV #496 will feature two matches to close out the build to the 19th Anniversary event. Let’s see what ROH has in store for us this week.

ROH TV #496 Full Card

Eli Isom vs Rey Horus

Eli Isom will be on ROH television for the first time since February of 2020. Isom is a graduate of the ROH dojo. He made his ROH television debut in 2017 tagging with fellow graduate Ryan Nova. After working a dark match in January of this year, Isom makes his television return against MexiSquad member Rey Horus. Horus is looking to bounce back in the ROH singles rankings after an unsuccessful TV title match against Dragon Lee. Horus is a 13-year veteran having worked for promotions such as ROH, NJPW, AAA, and PWG.

Isom is looking to re-establish himself in the ROH rankings while Horus is looking to recapture the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. Horus will team with fellow MexiSquad members Bandito and Flamita to challenge current champions Shane Taylor Promotions at the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view.

The Foundation vs. La Facción Ingobernable

Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Tracy Williams, and Rhett Titus will take on RUSH, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, and Bestia Del Ring. The two factions will square off in multiple matches at the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view with RUSH scheduled to defend his ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal. Dragon Lee will also take on Tracy Williams as Williams hopes to capture the ROH World Television Title. The ROH World Tag Titles will also be defended as Dragon Lee and Kenny King defend against Rhett Titus and Tracy Williams. The winner of this week’s eight-man tag match will have a momentum advantage going into the title matches at the 19th Anniversary event.

The two factions sit on opposite ends of the ROH philosophy. The Foundation prides itself on adhering to the Code of Honor and following the rules of wrestling. La Facción Ingobernable on the other hand plays by their own rules. This was evident by LFI attacking Tony Deppen after his victory over Kenny King on last week’s episode of ROH TV. Brody King tried to intervene but was put through a table by Bestia.

You can catch the 19th Anniversary event on Honor Club, FITE TV, and pay-per-view Friday, March 26th.  A free pre-show will start at 8 p.m EST before the main card, beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
