All Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the lineup of participants for the 2021 Champion Carnival. The annual round-robin style tournament is the highlight of the AJPW calendar and always provides some of the company’s best matches of the year. Let’s take a look at the Champion Carnival 2021 lineup

- Suwama (Triple Crown Champion)
- Zeus (All-Asia Tag Champion)
- Kento Miyahara (World Tag Team Champion)
- Shuji Ishikawa
- Jake Lee
- Yuma Aoyagi (World Tag Team Champion)
- Shotaro Ashino
- Koji Doi
- Kohei Sato (Zero1)
- Shinjiro Otani (Zero1)
The lineup is a fairly standard compilation of AJPW’s top heavyweights although many fans will be disappointed to not see Naoya Nomura back in time for the tournament and Koji Iwamoto not making the jump up from Jr. Heavyweight. There is however the addition of some fresh names as Shinjiro Otani will return to AJPW for the first time since 2011 to compete in the Champion Carnival 2021.
