Kurt Angle Podcast to Debut February 7th on Westwood One

Kurt Angle

It’s true, it’s true. Kurt Angle is foraying into the podcasting world with the help of Conrad Thompson. As the sixth host to Thompson’s arsenal of talent, The Kurt Angle Show will debut on February 7th across all major podcasting platforms. As with the other landmark podcasts Something to Wrestle, What Happened When, 83 Weeks, Grillin’ JR, and ARN, it is part of the Westwood One family. If you are a member of the Ad-Free Shows Patreon, you get early access to the regular podcast content, as well as the video feed of the episodes. There is also a bevy of bonus content available to Patrons not on the regular podcast feeds.

Kurt Angle has had a storied career in wrestling, both amateur and professional. A legitimate Olympic Gold Medalist, he turned pro in 1999 with his debut in the WWE. Angle would also go onto a great career in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, better known now as IMPACT Wrestling. In addition to his wrestling acumen, Angle is also known for his struggle with addiction. He told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated:

“And for me, this is the best way to get my message out. I want to share my story, and I want to talk about those that influenced me—my brothers and sisters in pro wrestling. I hope my story carries through so people have the courage to keep fighting.”

Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
