#AndNEW: Promise Braxton Wins ROW Diamonds Championship

Promise Braxton

She’s only been wrestling in Texas for the better part of a year, but already, three-year pro Promise Braxton is making her impact felt. She’s appeared for Thunder Rosa‘s Mission Pro Wrestling in Buda, Texas at their relaunch PPV, Hell Hath No Fury, and took part in Ladies Night Out in Texas City. Ever since she debuted with Booker T‘s Reality of Wrestling (ROW) this January, she’s been on a mission – and as of Saturday, December 19, 2020, she has completed that mission. In a grueling triple threat match for the ROW Diamonds Championship at ROW TV, Promise Braxton defeated the reigning Heart of SHIMMER Champion (and former 3x ROW Diamonds Champion) Hyan and Champion Rok-C to capture her first ROW Diamonds title.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Promise Braxton got her start in 2017 with the PWX Academy, the training school for Pennsylvania’s Pro Wrestling eXpress (PWX, now Fight Society), the same school that launched current US indie megastar Lee Moriarty (whom she beat in singles action back in 2017). Only 24-years old, she competed under the name Londyn Ali since her debut, working for various PA indies like RYSE Wrestling, Renegade Wrestling Alliance (RWA), Atomic Championship Wrestling (ACW), and others, as well as other companies like Queens of Combat (QOC) and RISE Wrestling. A relocation to Texas at the end of 2019/early 2020 saw Londyn Ali become Promise Braxton. With the new name came a fiercer persona in the ring that has now resulted in championship gold.
