All eyes are on Osaka Dream Cinderella as Stardom runs a hastily thrown together Korakuen Hall show featuring an Artist Of Stardom title shot and a preview tag match of the top two title matches from Osaka Dream Cinderella. Let’s preview the action from Road To Osaka Dream.
Starlight Kid vs Lady C
Stardom’s newest debutant Lady C takes on Starlight Kid who has grown a lot this year as a performer. Lady C’s size will offer an interesting dynamic for this match but Kid will likely chop down the giant and get a win.
Riho vs Gokigen Death vs Konami vs Ruaka
The “get everyone on the card” special multi-woman match. Any one of Riho, Death, or Konami could come away with the win here to get a win under their belt.
Update: Due to injury Riho was moved to a different match this is now a 3-way battle between Death, Konami & Ruaka
Mayu Iwatani vs Starlight Kid
Two women with a lot of heart will collide in a STARS vs STARS clash. Saya Iida is a powerhouse but doesn’t get many wins despite her performances. Iwatani is the more agile competitor and over the past decade has established herself as the icon of Stardom thanks to her never-say-die attitude. Iwatani hasn’t won much since dropping the world title so this match will likely give her a nice win.
AZM & Saya Kamitani vs Maika & Himeka
Update: Due to injury AZM is no longer on this show. Kamitani will instead team with Riho
Based on upcoming cards it seems Maika and Himeka may be regrouping to challenge for the Goddesses Of Stardom Championships. One of them pinning Saya Kamitani here would present them with an excellent opportunity to get them back into the title picture. Of course, AZM and Kamitani are no slouches and either one could pick up the win if they’re at their best.
Artist Of Stardom Championships: Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora, Bea Priestley & Saki Kashima) (c) vs Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Mina Shirakawa & Unagi Sayaka)
The Cosmic Angels are on a real hot streak as they have won a number of matches together since forming at Korakuen New Landscape. While they have been winning a lot and have worked like a well-oiled machine so far they run into the brick wall that is Oedo Tai here. Since Priestley returned and Konami joined Oedo Tai has been very strong and it wouldn’t be feasible for a strong faction to lose their first defense.
Osaka Prelude: Giulia & Utami Hayashishita vs Syuri & Momo Watanabe
A star-studded main event sees the top two Osaka Dream Cinderella matches represented in this prelude tag match. The World and Wonder of Stardom champions teaming up is a dream team that would surely be favourites to win against any other team. Momo Watanabe and Syuri aren’t just any old team though. Syuri is an elite tier wrestle who took Mayu Iwatanit to the limit at Yokohama Cinderella. Watanabe holds the records for the most defences in a single reign as Wonder Of Stardom Champion. Four of Stardom’s most talented performers will go at it here and we may just see Syuri and Watanabe pull of the upset.
