Preview: MLW Fusion (11/25/20)

MLW Fusion 11/25/20

MLW Fusion is looking to keep its momentum after a stellar return last week. With MLW World Middleweight Champion Myron Reed and MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu retaining their titles, we are now set for the Opera Cup‘s opening round.

MLW Fusion 11/25/20

Tom Lawlor vs. Rocky Romero

Former MLW World Heavyweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor has impressed fans lately with his showing inside the New Japan Pro Wrestling ring. Ironically, he will be returning to MLW against the man he beat in his NJPW debut, Rocky Romero. Though Lawlor was successful against Romero in the aforementioned match, don’t count out the veteran; he’s not the self-proclaimed “King of Sneaky Style” for nothing. With that being said, Lawlor has been on a roll this year and is one of MLW’s brightest stars. Expect “Filthy” to walk out with a clean win.

MLW Fusion TJP Richard Holliday

TJP vs. Richard Holliday

Former MLW World Tag Team Champion and rising star Richard Holliday will face former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP. Both men were eliminated in the first round of MLW’s initial Opera Cup by Timothy Thatcher and Brian Pillman Jr., respectively. With MLW only being a week out from their return, every win helps, and both men would benefit greatly from a strong showing here. It’s a toss-up, but I will go with “The Most Marketable Man in Wrestling” Richard Holliday to pick up the win here.
